Hey. It's cool that you don't like Anders. I'm sure you'd rather have sex with Kara and Lee or whatever.

But, please, if you want me to think you're intelligent: don't call Anders shit like 'Blanders'. Seriously. This just puts you in the category of people like Telkena, who thinks it's ok to rape someone as long as you love them. Or the people who call poor Pete Shanahan crap like "Pit" and "The Duck".

Basically, it proves that you're a fucking idiot.

And, while I happen to dislike your ship intensely, I don't actually go around and tell you you're all fucking annoying.

Sidenote to the Helo/Boomer shippers. No, HeBoo is not cute, it's not cool, and it's not something I would ever want applied to MY 'ship. It sounds fucking stupid, in fact. It astounds me that otherwise intelligent people don't get this.

I'd just like to see him be a little bit more multidimensional if he's going to come back as a character (that'd mean, however, that TPTB would have to devote more than 3.5 minutes to his characterization).

I don't get the Anders hate, but he didn't really register anyway -- he was on screen for...what? all of 10 minutes? And I was too busy freaking out about ovaries and estrogen levels and premature menopause because I'd read spoilers.

Yes, but in the spoilers I read (and they were really detailed and accurate. The only difference was the ovary(ies), which makes me think that they toned it down), when Kara walked in the corridor, instead of hearing Simon and Six, she heard Simon dictating a chart and saying that the removal of her ovaries was successful. So while people were freaking out about Anders, I was freaking out about Kara's ovaries and her estrogen levels and "OMG, menopaused at 25". Not because of the potential babies, since she doesn't want them, but because of things like, normal hormonal functions for a woman in her 20s. But in the scene that aired, Simon said that he only removed a sample, so she should be okay, for which I was abjectly grateful. So with all the freaking out I did, I barely noticed Anders.

I wasn't going to say anything because, really, each to his/her own and I'm fine with that (and coupled with the fact that I hate any kind of drama), but please, I'm not twelve years old. It's another name for the Helo/Boomer ship and some people like it and, while it's not my favourite (I prefer H/B or "Elysian" when referring to H/B fans), I'm not going to demean the other posters by calling them immature or unintelligent. If they like it, they want to have fun, it's their fandom, too.

I call Anders Blanders. I also call Tyrol Gimblesex, Laura Cancerprezlin, and Gaius Gilderoy (after Gilderoy Lockhart). I have also been known to call Six Babykiller, but save it for special occasions because it's oddly annoying to type.

Oddly, the only one of those epiphets that I didn't come up with myself is Blanders, which came from TWoP, where (I hear) Lee/Kara is quite an unpopular ship.

But yeah, dude. I totally support rape.
