Guaaahh...

Ever felt so tense while watching something that your stomach is in KNOTS the whole time?

And it's a TV show?

That would have been me, this afternoon, as I watched the first episode of Touching Evil series 2. *shudder* I even knew what was going to happen, and I sat there, biting my figurative nails.

One of the most wonderfully intense shows I've seen. Sure Buffy and Angel make me worry. But TE? TE makes me shudder and shiver, and I've actually had to get up and walk around to relieve the tension....

That's how good it is.

If you have a chance, find out when your local PBS station is showing Mystery, and watch. If you're not hooked.... Eh. Philistines.

I'm sure I had more to say. Hrm. I think I'm going to bed soon.

the problem with Touching Evil...

Is that they have to show it later at night because of the content, which is as thrilling as it is disturbing. This means that you end up either staying awake until you come off the goose-pimple high or you end up going to bed with very disturbing thoughts going through your head. Robson Green does not prevent nightmares.

PBS ran all three TE series a year after they ran on the BBC. I'm hoping they'll do another go 'round eventually....

Well, my PBS station, bless their black hearts, are showing Mystery at 5pm Sunday afternoons.... Gods know how many little children end up running to mum and dad about it. We had Second Sight the last several weeks. Now, TE2...

ALL PBS stations should be rerunning series two on Mystery. It's their schedule right now. The new season won't start until next Summer. Buggering gits.

And you can find TE--all three seasons--on tape. Ask at the Borders, they should be able to order them.

Actually, OZ used to make me tense up like that. I remember one episode I was curled up on the couch and just, sitting there, my teeth clenched, my fingers tightened so much they were shaking.... stomach in knots. I couldn't believe how much my *whole* *body* was tensed up, when the ep finally ended.

It was intense.
