My request to join sgcdarkfic has been denied.

It's very sad. Does this mean I don't write dark enough fic for them? Do they require Benway levels of dark? From the little I've seen, no. Most of it's shitty as fuck, and 'dark' seems to mean 'rape' a lot with little intelligence put into anything.

I feel very unpenguinish now.

Your fic is too fluffy because sometimes more than half the people in it survive to the end of the story. Plus, they don't all have rape or murder or abuse in them, and sometimes people actually smile. I joined SG H/C a while back, and they let me on, but they hate me.:) Left me on moderated status, and they even rejected one of my stories with no explaination (PG rating, definitely hurt/comfort, NO reason to reject it), most likely because it was S/J, and officially that's welcome, but unofficially if you like Sam, they hate you. (They're all about J/D). I posted there a handful of times, quite politely, and got slammed every time. And I'm usually the mediator, not the trouble maker. Finally just walked away. Which sucked, because my world revolves around hurt/comfort fic, so I thought it would be a great place for me. Oh, well.

People can suck, screw it, move on to the people who DON'T suck.:D
