Things that have made today better:
Silly putty.
Actually, wait. The silly putty is from The Package.

karma_aster who thought I needed cheering (squee!) contained:
Silly putty (and one of the eggs glows in the dark!)
Pez dispensers in alien shapes.
COOKIES. Cookies. Very good cookies. Cookies that, in the (it came Wednesday afternoon) day and a half since they got here are almost gone (we are shameless, but they are very good).
Where was I? Oh, yes. Cookies.
A plushie black frog with neon-yellow belly. He is now sitting next to the fluffy yellow elephant on my monitor (I know I named him, but I don't remember. Drat)
And magic grow capsules!
Ryuu so totally knows us, as we ARE ALL FIVE.
(on a sidenote: #subcafe is now talking about pants)
Anyway. The Package caused much glee.
I now have silly putty to play with. *pauses to play*
And it is raining again. *listens* I wonder if it will be colder today...
So, after having posted an entire file of text to Teh List, rather than simply my snarkly manifesto on why Sam wasn't a Mary Sue... The day did look up. Dinner was good. I had awoodface and a karma_aster and a qwirky to entertain me, and there was much glee and silliness. (and poor canthlian, who is sick and tried to pawn House fic ideas off on me.)
Then I changed Sams' icons. (Hey, I can't help if that makes me happy) And should poke and make more Kitty icons. Also, must make Lizzeh icons. *makes note to go cap-trolling*
AH! But the last thing that has made the day squeeful (aside from the pants thing in #subcafe, which is still going strong), HLY WROTE ME FIC. And it is SG-1 fic, and it is pseudo-pants!verse (hence, having to explain pants!verse in 'cafe after squeeing happily, and causing them to rattle on), but with The Simpsons and sex, and Daniel being snarky and Daniel. (Hly? "Throwing a phone on the floor doesn't always hang it up, Jack." is COMEDY GOLD, and should be used more often. Really)
And, thus, my day ends better than it began (except for The Package, which I was all squeeful about, and I have silly putty, and YOU DON'T!)
