I was sat here reading that thread thinking 'but Daniel's a Mary-Sue, Jonas is probably a Mary-Sue, Jack's the anti-hero variety of Mary-Sue and Teal'c is, when you think about it, also a Mary-Sue'.

In fact there is probably evidence to suggest every character ever in the history of television, film, theatre and literature is in fact a Mary-Sue.

And that whole 'reproductive organs' line should be considered a character flaw in itself.
