Folks, I can't tell you how happy this fic makes me. (not the least because I badgered her into writing it weeks and weeks ago, when I'd just finished skimming yet another stupid "Pete hits Sam and she shows up sobbing on Jack's door" fic and she's finally finished it...)

It makes me happy, because this is the Sam I know and love. The one who would NOT let herself be hit by someone she loves (or raped, for that matter).

It's very fluffy, and, yes, Sam/Jack shippy. But the end? Is truly the killer.
