Dear Alicia McKenzie,
You brought us a Cable we could relate to, a Scott who wasn't perfect, a Domino that was sarcastic, yet human. You helped flesh out the mythos of the Askani Sisterhood in a believable manner that leaves Marvel in the dust.
You write incredible, thought-provoking, world-building fic.
And right at this moment, I think I want to kill you.
My brain wants to write Battlestar Galactica Shadowlands fic.
It would be oh so beautiful. And no one would get it. Ever. Except, like, maybe Timey.

(yes, this is because of the discussion down there of songfic, as I was typing my explanation to RSR, and I was going to use my Shadowlands Kitty/Pete fic as an example, and my brain went "Shadowlands meets Galactica, film at eleven!" and then *splorch*)

(speaking of Silence Gets Us Nowhere--
