Ah, SG-1, you bring all the wank to the yard.
Seriously, folks. I don't care which side of the shipper divide you're on. 0 to wank in .6 seconds. Gotta be a new record.
*cackles*
Note to self: yelling Hitler in the middle of a debate makes you lose it.
However. It's still amusing.

...or something like that.
Their logic hurts.

You know, it might be better that Jack will be gone next season just because it'll make it harder to have J/S vs. J/D wars. I'm sure people will still manage though, somehow...

Those of us in the middle (or, y'know, the subversive ones who are all about the stupid!cute) will be eating popcorn. And jell-o.

They're just loudloudloud and INTENSELY wacky enough to convince people otherwise.

I think there has to be some kind of fan-wacko gravity or magnetism, whereby they tend to concentrate in one place. Which is convenient for the rest of it, since it makes them really quite easy to avoid. ;-)

The nice thing about the horrible things that happened to Mulder& Scully in XF is that they intensified the ship to insane levels. Kept me watching, I tell you. To the most bitterest of ends.
no subject
Yes, we watch it.
So what? If we don't watch it, either other people will or it will eventually get cancelled.
(this is why I hate the new trend in journalism. We're not here to bring about fucking world peace and social awareness, already)
There shouldn't be --shit. I've lost my train of thought. Damn you, red jell-o, damn you!

I agree that they shouldn't make it for us individually; but by making it for us as a massive group, they have to uphold some form of quality in their writing. And to me, part of that quality is staying true to character.
However...they do ignore very important character points that they've built in the past. Aaah whatevah.

Or a "Didn't we DO that already??? :: scratch collective head ::"
Which is a wankerrific debate unto itself, I realize. But still.

Well, it doesn't have to be confirmed now, they've barely begun to shoot the season and it won't air till July or so BUT, if during the course of season 9, it looks like the ship is either reset or totally ignored then yes, cruel teases because they're the ones who keep bringing it back up instead of laying it to rest for good.

I thought I was an obsessive fan (not about any ship in SG-1, though), but clearly I'm bush league compared to some people. That makes me very happy.

And I had to laugh and mock her, or I would have said really nasty things about bringing someone's personal journal into a debate on a mailing list.... Really bad etiquette.

Godwin's Law. Gotta love it.
So what's the wank about this time?

Basically. *g*

I hope that won't hurt the garden.

(Actually, I've already started, just for personal joy, so if you say no I'll have to go and cry somewhere. But it'd probably be a mercy to the world if you told me to hit my delete key :) )
