okay, now I'm feeling stupid.

But need to be enlightened.

Someone please explain to me why all m/f relationships are 'unequal'. I really, really don't get this statement.

Is it that the men always think the woman is a fragile flower?

Or is it that only one is on top all of the time, or what?

Because, I don't get it at all.

(and furthermore, don't get why f/f or m/m are 'equal' if m/f isn't.)

Sexual. As a couple, dating, whatever.... And I... Didn't have any kind of context, that I know of. I just keep seeing it said. "m/f relationships are unequal."

THEN, it depends on the couple. All of the relationships I've been in were unequal as the guy controlled this& this part of the relationship and I controlled this& this part of the relationship. But then, I don't have a problem with push/pull control just as long as it equals out comfortably...! Like Sam/Jack, they'd push/pull; Trinity/Neo er.... was kinda push/pull...well, canon-wise it was very equal, fandom, not so much.

And m/f sexually...er... I can't really comment. eep.

Ah. I suspect the complementing/sharing thing seems equal to me, and thus, don't get it.

*pets* I'm not sure I fully get it either as my academic brain says "men and women in a relationship will never be equal" and my regular-ole-liz brain says "Find the guy who treats you right and YAY!"; I think you are equal with Sam& Jack on the most part, giving them angst, sex, torture and bliss. :)
