BSG drabble

Been trying to remember to post this. Hand of God insert.

So exuberant.

Laura hears the cheers, and thinks that the woman laughing and cheering next to her shouldn't be alive. She remembers signing Kara Thrace's death warrant when she called off the search for her.

And the plan which has just saved the fleet from extinction was created and enacted by a woman who is still alive despite that order.

There is some grace in being wrong, but Laura can't quite find it right at the moment.

Still, she turns, and her arms go around Kara Thrace. And she feels, just for an instant, that the order was never given.

*g* Probably was made because I'd just watched Acts of Contrition and You Can't Go Home again prior to the re-watch of Hand of God... *scritches*

Oooh, I like it. And thank God for spoilers, otherwise I'd be very confused.

Thank you. :)

Er, as I'd said to Woodface, I think a large part of it was that I'd rewatched Acts of Contrition/You Can't Go Home Again prior to seeing it (I wanted a triple Starbuck dose).

The more I read the more I realize how deep this show is. Layer upon layer upon layer and just when you think you have it someone picks out something you didn't notice.

I completely missed this. Thank you for pointing it out.

*g* It is, yes. And I... I think it was because I'd rewatched a bunch at once, more than anything.

The most I've watched any of them is twice **time limitations**. I got them all on tape and plan on watching them again during the lull between seasons.
