SG-Friday

Short reviews:
SG-1: RP Kitty still wants desparately to be Sam Carter when she grows up.
'Lantis: Awww. It's all about Family, people.
BSG: *snigger*
Spoilery reviews:

Reckoning 2. I love that Ba'al, at his core, is still a master strategist and, oddly, a gentleman.

Jacob! Selmak! Wonder Twin Powers Activate!

I love that it was a puzzlebox. And that Sam kinda figured it out by, kinda pulling the Jack trick of, "which of these things doesn't belong." Because, you *know* that if Jack had been there, that woulda been him.

The SGC under attack made me happy, saving Siler made me happy.

Doctor. Darkside. omfg. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE MORE?

Seriously, folks, Daniel evil and not giving a fuck about himself? Is something I so love and want to see MORE of. This is the same Daniel who zatted Vala when she tried to say something to him. I love him so.

Replicarter was hot.

Sam was hot.

It occurs to me to wonder if the vest over the tanktop number is chafing on Sam.

The rebel jaffa are... amusing. I like Ba'al getting away in the end. AND I love that he wished Sam good luck (because, dude. Mark my words: Ba'al was NOT wishing Jake luck).

MyShipIsAllInMyHeadNote: Sam totally wanted to ask Jack for desk sex at the end. Jack, idiot (and understandably trying not to sex her) that he is, denied her with paperwork.

BSG: sigh. Well, the Dinner Party From Hell was at least amusing. As was Roslin being an idiot (er, I guess).

Starbuck leaning over to measure Baltar with her eyes... Honey, now you can dispell all of those rumors.... And is the Madhouse the only place that was really fucking amused that Six was spread over the desk half-naked in his head while talking to Starbuck?

Also. Six totally has the "Hands off my man, bitch." look down.

Not enough Starbuck.

Amusing Lee, however (hey, Meyer, you're right. That poor boy stuck in an elevator with HER? Oh, mah lord... He'd be a whimpering wreck....)

And, hey, look. If the Cylons are trying to fuck them over... well, they're doing a good job. And, go, CapriBoomer. She's broken her programming. Next thing you know, she'll describe a banana as the Bolivian Navy on Maneuvers.

'Lantis: Awww. It really is all about family.

Family.

Like the Mob.

I heart Teyla more and more, dude.

And I *love* that Sheppard is basically an expedient bastard who gives a shit about no one and nothing. And, and? That he is not all in touch with his "I'm sad I kill people" side.

I also like that she (and Liz) called the military guys on their callousness.

Not, y'know, that it matters. Since, hey, if you wanted a ZPfuckingM so badly boys, you COULD have massacred those dipshits in the episode where Kolya didn't die.

Teh Rodneh was cuuute.

Mr. Ponytail is going to make Jack laugh hysterically, considering everything he's listing? Jack has DONE. Sadly, though, that tape will be seen by lots of people who aren't so smart.

sigh.

Loved Lizzie saying her pieces to the families (in case you missed that the episode was All About Family) of the dead people. Except for Sumner.

And she dumped Simon. Go Lizzie.

hrm. I think I will write Ba'al pondering Sam fic... (y'know, I hate the fucking Balck Widow Curse shit, but, dude, she could kill Ba'al with it...)

Also: Again, I want to smack Jack. And I wonder if they should have put the end scene at a different angle, or with different emotion. Because it totally matches next week's episode SO much better in tone. And gets repeated, iirc...
