Role playing. Chat channel on irc that I normally enjoy, but that was filled for the past hour with everyone catering to the Mary Sue. I only have so much tolerance before it hurts too much.

And, er... Superboy, and two other DC kids, who act like they're gay, but get all offended if you tell them that. They're... obnoxious as crap.

She's more background than anything to the Kingdom Come storyline. Aside from the brief descriptor of being the daughter of Dick Grayson and the 'late' Starfire (it's never said how she died), there's really very little on her. She's never a main player, but I'll be the first to point out that yes, there is a lot of potential for someone to turn her into a Sue.

Actually, I traced back that most of my irritation was at two of the people who kept coming up with sugary crap and commenting about the omg!NightwingKillChamberNow! stuff.

The latter was indeed pissing me (and by proxy, you know who) off a LOT, so the second someone else came in and repeated what everyone had been saying for TWO HOURS straight, he'd reached the end of his patience. It was everyone *else* that was annoying the hell out of him for assuming he'd hurt someone without due cause or reason.

Suffice to say the mun for Nightstar was in AIM with me at the time and sympathised. And just between you and me, I may be doubling her at some point (but not in IRC or Sages). The last thing *either* of us want is for her to be a Sue, but the character as she's being played is only 19 years old, so annoyingness may result. I'll keep it in mind, though.
