And, yes! Jacob SO LIED to make her feel better.
Well, fanon is that Selmak was a she, because we're all amused by the idea. Plus, Selmak WAS a woman.
And the timing! I knew I'd forgotten something that bothered me. Maybe Jake can't count in Earth years anymore, and thus thinks in Tok'ra years?
