And, believe it or not, some women even own vibrators and didos and other sex toys and use them lots and really like them and never ever need a man to bring them to orgasm.

Hee. This happens in all fic. Sometimes it's kind of a surprise which characters are written this dumb. The only time it makes sense is in a regency romance novel where it might be believable that a female character wouldn't know masturbation even existed.
