Yeah, but you're right, so I wouldn't dismiss it as a random rant of irritation. It's HUGELY irritating when people don't bother to learn basic rules of grammar and punctuation and then want to be forgiven with the "I'm dumb and can't be bothered" excuse. No, it's not ok.
