That pairing makes entirely too much sense. One of them should get the other preggers, like mpreg but not, 'cause they're both girls, and then they'd birth? spawn? one weird looking kid who'd kick *everyone's* butt. Yep. This is almost canon, you know?
And they're both too tough to break in a moment of passion, unlike most people. Other partners could get... messy. In a bad way.
And Replicarter can travels between galaxies, so the crossover isn't as far fetched as it should be, given its inherent badwrongness. This is so very, very wrong.

The sg1/alien crossovering is difficult, I did it for a fun meme thinger with Lambert screaming about Teal'c symbiote, (squee) but you're right - the replicators could theoretically mix time travel with an AU and visit the "earth. what a shithole" galaxy. And eat the nostromo and the betty. SNERK.
And would the replicator acid cancel out alien acid? Hrm.

Nah, not in Fanficsmuttiverse. :D All you'd have to do is get them alone together and have them decide to explore the being-human-sortof-ness with each other. Replicarter wouldn't necessarily even see this physical stuff as cheating. And everyone Ripley likes dies on her, anyway, (or that would be her expectation, which is good enough motive for smut.)

Acids don't cancel out acids, but things that are acid resistant for one acid are often acid resistant for another. So that makes them an even better match. :)
