so, I've been tossing this idea around in my head for a Kitty Pryde icon, and it came to me that it works for Sam, to.

Oo. An animated icon.

Version one is too big, but it's pretty. Version two is about the right size, I think.

The Kitty version will actually have "I'm an X-Man. And you're trapped in here with ME." on it. But, heh. Doesn't quite work for Sam. ;)

Yup. The color one, I'm leaving as is (it's too big for LJ anyway, and my inner editing geek likes the quick cuts). But I can slow the black and greyscale one down a bit more. (I swiped an editing program from my roommate's computer... I could do bad bad things with it... hrm)

I am a huge, HUGE fan of fast cuts. Goes back to the days I edited an opening for the student video magazine, and it was nothing *but* quick cuts between shots... They, uh, liked it, but thought I was kinda weird. *g*

There's just a simplicity to quick cuts. You get just *this* much visual information, and it's like a rapid-fire, or getting hit. (which, with the action!Sam shots was kind of the point.)

*pause* And I ramble. Heh.
