*BOUNCES*
1/3 of the Milwaukee Madhouse gives tonight's episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis two thumbs up.
SG-1. Chris Judge does another fabulous job scripting an episode. I want to hug him a lot for everything. There's rarely a wrong note struck, and I *love, love, love* Bra'tac. To fucking death, man.
Andy Mikita, who shot it, did a FABulous job.
The acting was also damned good.
Character notes:
Teal'c. Good job, he was very grim as he worked through his own hangups about stuff.
Ishta. I respect her more and more. She didn't hit Teal'c enough, sadly.
The kids. Cute as buttons, and I like the smiling and the "I will not kneel!" stuff.
Daniel. He got a lot of happy smirky grin type things. I loved it. (Timey still needs to finish her fic, though)
Sam. Not a lot of her, but what was there was incredibly relaxed. I like that. I think her being in charge of her own team has put her in a better frame of mind.
Jack. Ping pong. So. Fucking. Amusing.
Shipper front: The Sam/Daniel shippers are probably getting lots of milage out of the cute-ass gateroom scene. S/J can also rest assured that there was a corridor moment of "Heh. I'm holding Carter." "Uh... Sir?" "Oh. Right. Wanna go back to the closet?" "Later, sir."
Sam. Again. She was very touchy-feely, which was really interesting to note. I love it. I like my Sam happy and snarky and bouncy and pissy and blowing things up. Which she did. Hee.
Atlantis. Not as squee-worthy, but it was decent. There were bits that made me giggle.
Shepwhore. His friends called him 'Shep'! It is official!
Bedroom scene. Like fanfic, but with War and Peace. And McKay was snarky. And I love that Shep was the one who had it figured. It was preeettyyy..
Hrm. Don't wanna ramble as much.
Plothole: why did no one ask where the fuck Jack the General was?
I, of course, am going to shippily fix this plothole.
Laater.

HEEE! ^_^
The bedroom scene in atlantis was totally ripped from every fanfic ever written about John and Lizzie. Jeez. That scene was oversquee for this liz.
And Atlantis was totally soapgate. I couldn't take it seriously. :)
