*grumble*
More random Atlantisness.
But, before the cut, I give to you... random stuff.
Litte Red, as all should so know, is evil incarnate. Really. Gah. Now have Weir and Sheppard in my head.
Dude. I hope the SqueeCon attendees understand the sacrifice I'm making. Sleep, man. I'm so frelling tired, it ain't even funny. For instance, read the following. TYPED IT VERBATIM....
"...store is looking better each wank." Oh! Wait. Week. Sheesh...
One of the things that occured to me, while here at work, about what disturbed me about Atlantis... Yes, it's shiny and bright and full of tech and pretty things and cute people, but... It was almost too glib and quick and shiny. There was no depth to *any* of it. I felt like I was watching a farce, almost. You knew this would happen, you knew that would (this isn't a spoiler thing, it's more a... lack of suspense in the plot thing, I think). And there was no heart in any of it. I could laugh at it and mock it, but it didn't impinge on my emotions at all.
Teyla's people obviously travel through the gate. Remember? The kid? Plus, they weren't scared of strangers.
Maybe there's an exchange of populations, or something... Heh. breeding stock exchange.
Someone mentioned Sheppard is... not as cynical as Jack. He hasn't quite had the shiny rubbed off of him yet...
