*snicker*

People are so cute.

"X-Files is the longest running SF/Fantasy show in history."

Awww. *pats the American-centric person*

Hrm. I should find socks.

And. Dude. People need to entertain me today. It's gonna be looooong. And probably no email access. Sigh.

Doesn't automatically mean the person is American-centric.

Could just mean the person is clueless, couldn't it? I didn't know about Dr. Who for many, many years after I'd gotten into sci-fi TV.

I suppose that's possible.

I suspect I'm also bristly on behalf of other nations, too, though.... Or maybe I'm just weird that way.

I think they mean 'continuous.' Though that really should be tacked on the end. It was when people were first making the assertion, anyway.

And Dr. Who kinda.... breaks all the rules, what with not having one continuious... anything, really. ;)

Yup. It breaks all the rules. It still maintained itself for... erm, 24? I think. Years. (and, dude, I could so ramble on about production values and how they only had strings and paper plates for the first five years, until sometime during Troughton's reign--and wasn't there something about Verity--right. Shutting up now.)

*singsongs* Hi, ho, hi ho, I'm stuck at work, oh no....

Yeah, they probably meant continuously on tv. Cuz, Who's been pretty darn continuous in one form or another for a long long time now. There may even have been comics to fill the gap after Trial.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Someone didn't research what they were saying properly. That's beautiful! *L*
