Comics! Comics! Comics!
Hawkeye #6, #7: Heh. Heh. Heh. And, Squeeeee!
Thanos #9: HAH!
Cable&Deadpool #2: *snigger* (Can we clone Fabian? Please? Then I could marry him...)
Hawkeye. Well, issue 6 ends the High, Hard Shaft arc. And ends it well. I think I still need to reread it all at once to get everything. But it was good, it was amusing, it made me giggle lots. And yell at Clint. Because. Clint? Needs a smacking. And, we're lucky to have it provided in the first issue of the new arc. And by none other than the lovely Natasha. However! (there can be only one Black Widow GFD!) That's getting ahead of myself. Issue 6 also has the BEST revenge bit. Ever. And Clint smirks too much. But he has nice lips. I could have done without the canon stuff, without the Avengers and all. But, well, I suppose they had to keep it in current company continuity (say THAT three times fast, Mr. Jemas). I continue to like this book. It's quick, it's cute, and there are librarians.
Thanos. Bits of this were more setup, I think. I continue to like his secondary cast (those three intergalactic police kids... And why do I keep thinking of the big big guy as Teal'c? This is so wrong). And the Beyonder? Obviously ran afoul of Vanessa. Or maybe she just IS Vanessa. And, note to self: Never Ever Ever piss off the Beyonder.
Cable&Deadpool. The snark abounds in this issue. Nate lays into everyone (including Wade) about the state of the world and the way to change it. And basically fucks himself over. But, then, that's Nate. Mr. Masochistic himself. Irene continues to grow on me, and I love that she fell asleep over her keyboard (HAH!). And Wade? Bad man. Very bad man! Although Nate was also bad. I mean, c'mon. "Don't make me laugh while I do this again." "Do what?" *splert* Heheheheheheheheheheheheheh.
So. Anyway. That's my comics haul for the week. Ciao.
