Challenge: dialogue-only fic (...yeah, like that's hard for me... Bah)

Season 3

"There is *no* smoking in my head."

"Oh, come now, John. It's illusory smoke, it doesn't affect your brain function--not that there is much--in the least."

"Unreal or not, I won't have you smokin' in my head! And don't tell me, Harv, that you love smokin' Marlboroughs."

"Well, no, Crichton, but I find them... enlightening. Your culture seems to thrive on self-abuse. Yet you--"

"Hey, hey, leave my culture out of this discussion. This is not why I called you here."

"Called me. Yes. Why did you call me, John?"

"No, no, you know what? I don't have time for you anymore, Harvey. I don't even know why I wanted to call you. Just. Go away."

"I am not a slave John, to arrive and leave at your every whim."

"No, what you are is an unwanted irritation."

"Are you saying I'm not useful? How many times have I come at your beck and call and answered your questions, John? And you're not grateful? Bah."

"This is *my* brain, Harvey. I don't want you here, but since you are, I'm gonna use you. So, deal."

"He tortured Crichton, and caused the destruction of Talyn."

"*That* was you and Crichton and the others. Scorpius would never--"

"Scorpius was going to discover the secret of wormholes. In the circumstances, it was the best course of action."

"He was--and is--going to use that knowledge against the Scarrans! I would hardly call that a bad end!"

"The ends, Sikozu--"

"No. Aeryn, I do *not* understand this distrust. Are you sure it isn't merely your Peacekeeper training coming to the fore and mounting distrust at the half-breed?"

"My Peacekeeper training?! My Peacekeeper training tells me not trust this man--he will betray us if it suits his ends!"
