always questioning my motives...

Many things. Been cleaning my room.

Hey, Ryss? Was I supposed to hang onto the Horatio Hornblower tv guide cover for you? I've got it, see. It's Ioain, or however it's spelt. But I know I wasn't keeping it for me (I would've stripped it and tossed the dregs long ago, otherwise).

Alistaire Stuart. I keep remembering people objecting to Pete as Kitty's Object of Lust. Why not Al? He has to be Pete's age, at the least (given that his TWIN is a brigadier. C'mon, people, they don't hand out brigadierships to teenagers. I'd think you'd have to be at least in your late 20s, if not late *30s*). And, considering that Kitty was 14 for most of her Alistaire crush... Yeesh. At least she was 18 or something with Pete.

It's been a vaguely productive day. Washed laundry, hung crap up. I now have enough hangers. Go, me.

Still a ton of stuff to ruthlessly cull so I don't have extraneous, useless crap when I move.

Was bad and went and spent some money on used books. Such a temptation to print out my list of what I've got and simply raid the shelves... Lottery tickets. Winning lottery tickets. Anyone got one? *sadsigh*

Made the mistake of noticing an entire box of Marion Chesney. Be still my Regency-mad heart.

Oh! Speaking of, I've about 7 random Regencies that are bought off the library table, so they're missing backs. Anyone interested? They're doubles of stuff I've already got (I'm very scatter-brained, sometimes) I'd just mail them off, see... Hrm. I think it includes: The Painted Lady by Barbara Metzger; The Adventurers by Michelle Martin; The Butler Who Laughed also by MM; Valentine Rogues anthology... Don't remember the rest, off the top of my head. Something by Marcy Stewart, too, iirc.

I continue to love and adore Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine. Between them, The Pogues, U2's Pop album, and Duran Duran's Pop Trash... My brain is so fucked.

Great. Now I can add My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult... oh, well... I liked my mind...

I think the thing with Alistaire was that there was no reciprocation (ooh, long word) from him to Kitty's crush. In fact, he seemed downright uncomfortable with her at times. :)
