dental floss.
I slept today. A lot. In fact, more than I've slept in months. A total of 13 hours, and I must have needed it. I've been averaging around 7 hours a night for the last several weeks, I guess my body finally said, "HEY!!!"
The last dream I had was vaguely of interest. I must have gotten through everything that's happened over the last several days, because it was about a class trip to Disney World. We went down in buses--three--and at some point, the drivers changed, though I don't remember why. And the new driver on my bus was... weird.
For some odd reason, we were going there for a conference of some sort. And, unlike normal, I actually *attended* this conference, rather than running off to play at the Magic Kingdom.
As anyone who went to New York with me can tell you, I avoid conferences like the plague.
One of the things all attendees were given was (for some reason) a Four Seasons Salute pass. This entitles the holder to vist ANY Disney park for the months of February, May, August, and November (at least it did in 88, iirc). Why we (who were staying for all of a week) were given them I haven't a clue.
So, the conference was ending on a Wednesday, and we were leaving Florida Thursday night (to drive all night, as we'd done on the way down). However, for some reason, our Head Driver person decided that we would leave Thursday morning.
Cue me bitching mightily.
And then cue me packing everything, and telling them I'd catch a Greyhound bus back up (having talked to my parents and gotten their ok on it).
I woke up, then.
There was also some weirdness to do with our hotel rooms. I think it was 8 girls and 1 guy, and the guy kept switching rooms or something. *headshake* As I said. Oddness.
Apparently, though, the consequance of sleeping 13 hours was spending about four hours this afternoon feeling as if I was living in cotton wadding. I kept being worried I was just going to fall down. Walls are essential things. So are stands. Predictably, I didn't start feeling like this until I was out shopping. Sucks.
I did, however, discover that I could easily spend a thousand dollars at Best Buy. Sigh. I need to win the lottery.
