So let's try this again....

LJ ate the post I made last night. It wasn't all that extensive, but... sigh. Oh well.

I do not like war. This war, especially.

But I have discovered my life is full of ironies (not the least of which is the fact that Dom and Aeryn should form Insanity Lovers Anonymous). Coca Cola, as some may know, is putting out an 'original recipe' version of Coke. This lunch hour today, they had people handing out skinny little cans to the people walking around.

So. It hits me, when I'm in the middle of scrawling down bad Marya plot ideas (for Hambly's Silent Tower, sadly. sigh).

"Rock'n'Roll, the Cola Wars, I can't take it anymore!" was immediately followed by, "A cola manufacturer is sponsoring the war."

The first line is from 'We Didn't Start the Fire' by Billy Joel (iirc). The second is from 'Too Much Information' by Duran Duran.

Sadly, I drank the soda, and they were gone when I went back. I would have liked another can.

I still haven't named my car. I went to title it, and couldn't, though. Apparently, they need the front signed by the previous owner, yadda yadda. Bah. Still. Car.

Tried to eat macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight (er, technically, lunch. I keep forgetting breakfast...). I'm reaching into the refrigerator, and my body's like, "Fuck that shit, bitch! We're havin' SALAD!" and grabs the lettuce and rye bread (croutons).

So. I have salad. Life is good.

ummm...

That's the front of the registration form, right? Not a big "John Hancock" right above the left front fender? ;-)

Gee. I would've thought that the car dealership folks would have had the owner sign it when the owner traded it in...

As for naming it, there's no rush. Get to know the car's personality first. ... It might be a little shy, having been given up, ya know... Give it time, and lots of love... :-)

is that the original original recipe which actually had cocaine in it, or not? ;)
