like no other gadget that you've ever seeen

Songs learned in childhood really do stick with you and come out at odd times. I'm currently humming the theme tune from one of those kids' records about singing in joy to God called, iirc, The Music Machine. It's very disconcerting.

I have this odd urge to read 90's X-Men and Avengers comics again.

In news of delight, I've added the War of the Worlds tv series to my netflix queue. It will be awesome in its awfulness. =D

ahahah.

When one sees "Riddick/River" one does not immediately leap to Riddick/River Tam (which, um. kinda ew--it's her mental age that bothers me). One thinks of River Song and assumes that Riddick is on the losing side of that equation.

In other news, before I delve into the coding of the femslashy update of tonight, I had the vague thought of "Is there a newsletter that collects links to fic about women"?

Of course, it's the sort of undertaking that would be monumental.

(in other, other news, someone should write fanfic based off the spoilery pictures for newskool that have surfaced, but with, er, the people in them as spies or something and having nothing to do with Who)?

eta: also, there is a Lost Girl ficlet fest: http://fitz-y.livejournal.com/3348.html
