I took a ridiculous amount of time off (20th through NY), and hoooooly fuck was that Tuesday going back Into Work the WORST. Then this week, I went into the actual office today. The office that was closed for like nine months as they surveyed and redesigned and designed and did tons of construction work to make it look exactly the fucking same just with two monitors on every desk, terrible wired mice and terrible tiny keyboards.

What. What was the point of that.

Clearly, I need to go into interior design so I can scam people out of money, too. (I saw the invoices! I know how much cash was laid out for nothing!)

In non-RL news: femslashkink meme happened, I didn't see anything inspiring (also, I'm getting old and a lot pickier and more vanilla, not kinkier - I think I'm much less kink-leaning in fandom than I was a decade ago).

OTOH, Fall of the House of Usher fandom keeps delivering the femslash, so, yay for them (there is Madeline/Annabel Lee out there, I am so fucking gleeful about it).

I did consider linking to all of the ficlets I've posted on meme, but that would be complicated (they're separated out by fandom in files, and sometimes, I forget where I am in the file and they get shuffled, so some of 2023 might be in 2020, etc).
