So. Got up Tuesday. Jenna says, "Hey, did you get my message earlier?"

I say, "What message."

She says, "The transmission fell out of the car in the middle of 40."

Gee.

No, I hadn't gotten it.

So, yeah. We're down to one car between four people. So not fun. But. We'll deal. I hope.

Yes, dad has a car. And, yes, he's at work from 6am-god knows when (midnight, possibly)...

The car's plates are renewed.

I have new shoes.

The car will cost at least 3300 to fix.

Been re-evaluating some stuff. Need to send in my resignation to the Purple Haze. Sigh.

Saw one of my old bosses yesterday.

Threw me for a fucking loop.

Am currently reading J.V. Jones' Book of Words. Not too bad, could use a little work. And her characters are either naive and stupid, or evil and smart. Hrm..

The jury's still out on whether I like it or not. Considering I now own the trilogy...

Oh well.
