Does a mullet make a man?
So, since I'm feeling all pimpy, I shall make music recommendations.
First up, Evanescence. I've listened to exactly three songs, and I like them all. "Anywhere", "Bring me to Life", and "Where Will You Go". All are lovely sounding, Anywhere has a slightly different feel from the other two, but I'm such a sucker for orchestrated sounding stuff.
CSI: Miami played a bit of a song on the end of one episode, and I liked the way it sounded, googled the few lyrics, and now have "Hayling" by FC Kahuna. Also great stuff. Nice and moody. "Glitterball" isn't too bad either.
The next one was a twenty-second piece on an old taped off the radio cassette I had. I liked the lyrics I heard, and the music, so when I finally got around to googling it, I found that it was Lange "I Believe" featuring The Morrighan.
Bowling for Soup's "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" started out on 93.3, the local All-digital station, all-computerised, etc. It has a low number of listeners, since it's not very powerful. The Point has picked it up since then. (on a tangent, 93x has a tendency to play Papa Roach's new single twice in a row... Computer glitch, methinks.)
On the audio cassette front, I suggest the Pet Shop Boys' "King's Cross". Sadly, I haven't found anyone with it on mp3. Bah. Eth.
