I'm not an addict...

Honestly!

'K. Confession time.

*ahem*

Er...

I.... ... like.. watching Charmed.

I didn't think I would. In fact, I spent over two years considering it crap.

It... sort of is.

But it's also sort of fun.

Okay, okay, I watch it because Julian Mcwhatever from Profiler is Cole. And I get bad crossover ideas from it.

Speaking of bad crossovers, the Mayor of Sunnydale was on Profiler last night as the bad guy.

Watch the wheels of inspiration produce another silly idea.

Meanwhile, channel nine FINALLY showed a new episode of Second Sight. Oooh. Sleep disorders. Happyhappy.

I do, however, still miss Catherine Tulley enormously. Ross does, too.

BTW, Ross, baby, if you sleep with the suspect, I will personally kick your ass.

Hrm. Back. Wandered down to check my laundry. Damn machine flooded. Of course, it was my own fault. Sigh.

Stoopid CourtTV has been showing Profiler directly opposite The Pretender... Can we say, "DODOHEADS"? I thought so. At least they still have the 11pm repeats. Happyme.

I get my Profiler, and my Pretender.

*cackle* Talk about bad smut.

On another note... Was reading Anne McCaffrey's "The Rowan"... And it hit me... There's NO lead-up to her two mains falling in love. They meet. They have great sex. Suddenly, they'll die for each other.

Yeesh.

And people say women want to write about romance. That wasn't romance. That was one or two silly jokes and a great boink.

Ick.

Plus, all that Gwyn-Raven shit is so fricking BORING. Wow. A Family Affair. Gee. Can we get on with the PLOT?

No! We're going to end it with an incredibly Mary Sue Save The Day Moment!

And have more kids.

And more bad books.

Sigh.

In other news, Bevcon is coming.

Mwaha.

Right. Done rambling.

I felt the same way...

Charmed is a type of show or movie that I like to call "Popcorn entertainment".

It's fun and good to have when it's there, but there isn't a whole heck of a lot to it, so isn't very filling.

What popcorn do YOU eat? :)

They've been going for a lot of subplot lately so I am guessing they're trying to get away from the show being "three hotties with powers" angle the show began as.

Their mother and grandmother show up fairly often, and the Cole-Phoebe plot-thread is what has me most curious.
