Spent the meeting with the newspaper being told it was MY fault the network and internet access are down in the newsroom.

Yes, I did stick up for myself. "Um, no, it was working fine, and has been since I downloaded mirc, yikes, winamp and winzip."

Funny, they haven't deleted any of the above.

I could live without winamp and winzip. Possibly without even mirc.

But not yikes.

Yikes is a program sent from heaven. It's my web-text-editor dream fantasy.

I can have fifteen files open, and it doesn't crash. I can have them open and they don't fill the taskbar.

Even better. I can edit one tiny piece of all fifteen open files with just a quick search and replace.

Yes, this is heaven.

Anyway, I had nothing to do with the network crashing.

It's them putting the hub/server on an old, dying hard drive that's crashing it.

Dumbasses.
