So...
Sunday, slept until I had to work. Nice to catch up on my rest.
Watched the Oscars in intermittent bits (they were really boring). Tried flipping channels to find anything else worth watching. Had a difficult time of it. Who says having cble means there's always something on?
Am unsurprised Julia Roberts won. Even if she didn't deserve it. And, damn, but she talked a hell of a lot (I flipped away. Flipped back five minutes later, and she was STILL rambling...).
I am surprised Gladiator won. Not that I don't think it didn't deserve it... But, I was expecting Crouching Whatsit, Hidden Etc. to win.
On to other matters...
Took a nice mental health half-day today. Avoided people and ate Ted Drewes. Mmmm. Mint chocolate chip concrete...
It was actually nice and sunny out there. Even if it's also damned cold.
Current reading material: Searching for Dragons.
Finished Dealing With Dragons earlier. Also reread most of the M*A*S*H novel by Hooker.
I got to play with my boss's dogs tonight. There was a Condo meeting, so I couldn't sit on the desk. So my boss did, and I sat on his kitchen floor and played with his little poodles.
*giggle* Teak was growling at me, 'cause I wouldn't throw his toy for him after a while.
Caught the Pretender Saturday night. Noted the existance of Holland Manners as a psychologist working for The Centre. My ideas are vindicated. *cackle*
Now, to figure out a plot.
Just so people are clear on my feelings.. I really, really, really, really want Lyle dead. And Brigitte.
I would like them deader than Darla and Drusilla. I would like them as dead as the Demon Mayor from Buffy. I would like them as dead as the principal (either Flutie, OR Snyder)....
I do not want them pulling a Holland Manners.
Or a Jean Grey.
I'm sick of them. I was sick of them the first moment they walked onscreen.
Begone, foul people.
