Apparently, Capaldi's first newskool Who episode has leaked. you guys. Why is it so hard to be an upstanding citizen?

Also, it's apparently almost been ten years since Atlantis premiered. And by almost, I mean the premier was ten years ago next week. (you guys, I am old)

I should distract myself with something else. Like the leaked Constantine pilot.

Ahhh. I think the episode leaked a day or two before or something? Possibly. (Rose, of course, leaked back in the day -- and I totally did watch the leaked version and never saw the differences, or perhaps had never looked)

Yeah, the first five - they leaked first. it sounds like both leaks are from the same server in Miami (everything was there for translation/dubbing purposes, from the sounds of it, which is extra obnoxious).

I liked it, for the most part (not fond of the "she won't trust me, I'll manipulate her instead" bit, though. I'm really tired of that--Haven had it in spades).

I'm sad to hear we're losing Liv when the actual show is picked up (we're getting someone named Zed instead). I wonder if people thought she was too young (my one complaint about her was her hair being all over the place. I know,I know, superhero physics!)

Disappointed in the lack of women, though. I get that it's basically a two-person/partners thing with one main character and his side-kick. But it was still lacking in women. :/

I didn't think Liv had much to do, so I would have been annoyed if they were dumping the actress and not the character (it was absolutely a writing issue, not the actress). I don't mind that they're bringing in a different female character (Zed) who started off as a victimised cult but very quickly grew past that and became awesome. But as it needs more women, stat, I would have liked to have both Liv and Zed! The comic certainly has a lot of female characters, so there's a lot of scope.

oh, yeah, I do think Liv would been in the "constantly incapable and screaming for help" box. Because very few tv writers are good at transitioning that type of cliche into, say, Gwen Cooper. They like their boxes, unfortunately. :/

But I liked the idea that she could have been more. And I'm a bit... hesitant over a character who is an ex-girlfriend.

I'm glad she'll be a better character, at least.

And I would have liked them both.

I'm a bit worried they're describing Zed as an ex-gurlfirend, too, because that's really inaccurate unless the definition of girlfriend is "had sex for plot reasons and later worked together". The other characters from John's past got to be interesting so I hope Zed does too.

I've never watched SGA and I still think that's definitely too recent a show to be 10 years old. The world should really stop and take a breather from this aging business; it's getting ridiculous.

I'm terrified to find out how old Farscape is. Like, B5, I totally accept that B5 is ancient at this point. But SGA and Farscape? Noooo, those are not that old. Nope. Not gonna believe it.

Then again, the other day I was trying to remember when BSG ended and--yes. It is time for time to take a rest so that I can stop feeling old. =D

I've been good and not gone looking for any DW spoilers at all. I've been avoiding them like mad since the premiere is barely a month away.

The Flash pilot leaked and that, I did watch. It shows much potential for being a fun show. (I love Stephen Amell - Arrow - on FB. He is such a goofball.)

It's weird, to me. I will actively (and have) buy the dvds for the show later on, I will watch it over and over (do not ask how many time I've watched Eleven's era, I can't even count anymore). But for some reason, the idea of downloading the leaked episode feels wrong (and I definitely, or would have?, watched Rose when it initially leaked; also, I did get the Constantine one, and idek why the DW leak is the one hill I'm dying on here.)

I miss SGA seasons 1-3. After that, I burn it to the ground and salt the ashes.

Agreed - after the season 3 killing of Weir, I got totally pissed at Mallozzi & co.

On Constantine, I saw a story on how they'd replaced one of the actresses in order to go with someone who's a Latina to be more in line with the character.

I've not gone after the pilot for that show yet - I've had ever so much fun being a parent the last few days. (SO not what I'd planned - becoming an instant parent to a teenager! :-p)
