1. Plane tickets have gone down. Perhaps I should go to DragonCon this year (if only to see my sibling and nephew). (I don't know why I'm so blase about it. A few years ago, I would have already bought everything and be in like Flint. Maybe I'm getting old? idk)

2. [livejournal.com profile] femslash_land is baaaack. And [livejournal.com profile] womenverse is gearing up for a new round, iirc.

3. Today, I said, "screw CI" and spent the entirety of the day slogging through the helpdesk email in an attempt to get us somewhat up to date (they are so lacking people over there, it was three weeks back-logged).

4. Then. then. at the end of the day, CI were like, "you're a toy doll, and we have one arm, and your real boss has the other and we're both pulling." and I was like, "pls don't break me, kthnx" because telling them (graphically and with anatomical detail) where to get off would not do good things for my career.

I hope things get less stressful at work!

What is womenverse like? Like what kinds of challenges do they have, and do you get to hang out with your team a lot?

hrm. Graphics, writing, sometimes games (word searches, etc), prompts, a mini big bang, or puzzles. Lots of varied challenges. And Flip-Flops, at least, seems to hang out a lot. The others might be just as together? I think a lot depends on if people like the mod-style. FF's mods are bouncy and enthusiastic.

Cool, thanks!
