I didn't like that relationship, either (and I'm trying to tell myself that Joss was lying to him by omission, too. But it doesn't work because I know her more, and she is my hero, and Beecher... wasn't. And it's not the "I ship her with Reese" thing, because while I do, I just... Beecher would have been nice to like more)

Instead, I will think happy thoughts about the episode being a sneaky backdoor pilot where Monica will have her own spinoff with Shaw and possibly Root along for the ride.
