Because it is apparently back, and I shall not be denied my crack.
Dylan, how amaaaazing are you? So very. I'm glad that she's not being made to take over Ange's job with finances and shit. That would be... annoying. I do feel as though she's been slipping into being Evan's conscience/friend more and more, and I actually appreciate that their friendship doesn't seem to be based on wanting to bang each other.
I just loved how thrilled she was over the triceratops. FANGIRL AHOY. She was adorable.
Toby, Toby, Toby. I'm not sure that researching the ARC is exactly a good idea (though I really wish this show was tied closer to its parent, if only so I could get a sense of what the Wider World of the ARC thinks about Cross Photonics.)
(then again, I desperately want all the UNIT crossovers ever)
Anyway, Toby. I'm sort of annoyed that she seems to be relegated from tech!whiz!geek!girl to... side-kick? I don't know. I was expecting Toby to be the one to figure out the timing thing, and now Jack Carter has. A bit of a let-down, but I'll take it in stride as long as she starts hacking into the ARC or something.
(sidenote: Abby/Toby would be amazing, and Connor's brain would implode)
Well played, Jack Carter, well played. I knew that whole "..when my wife died..." line was a total con. Also, how did he not notice the triceratops running around his lawn? I'm really hoping he's not going to become the Helen Cutter of P:NW. Then again, he seems like he might actually be given more motivation and dimensions.
As for Leeds and his group, whyyyy do none of the others seem to notice his creepiness? WHYYYyyyyy. He obviously has nothing good planned for the dinosaurs. I feel as though he is now in charge of the Canadian Black Air. (I'm hoping they won't raise any demons on purpose)
Mac wasn't left for last on purpose. I am thankful that they're not just hand-waving the whole thing. That he's got problems with it, and doubts. I appreciate that he listens to Toby (she does speak good sense), and doesn't stop doing his job, even if he's quite his job.

But I do hope they bring Ange back at some point, as I loved her. And I hope we find out that they all do know that Leeds is a big creeper who creeps and they're just pretending to be oblivious until they learn his true plans. At least, that's my hope because his creepy intentions are just SO right on the surface.
Also, I'm glad Mac isn't overly angsty about the whole dead future!self thing. He's confused, obviously but so far he hasn't been drowning in 'I'm going to die horribly' angst and that's much appreciated.
