My Favourite Story Of The Year: Green Light District. St. Trinian's exists in the Marvel Movieverse, Kelly Jones and Black Widow square off against each other, and plotty things sort of happen. All is right with the world.
My Best Story of the Year: When the Lights Go Down. I really felt I'd nailed the characterization on this one, and it also flowed when writing it--I didn't stop and start, and mentally whine about not knowing what to do next. (iirc, anyway. It's been a while).
If not that, I nominate Song to the Siren, Primal Constructs and/or Into Legend (even if the latter was pure wish fulfilment post-movie nonsense extrapolation, and the former was pure wish fulfilmment. PC, otoh, was just fun to write, even if a bit terrifying.)
Funniest Story: Probably Tardis Afternoons. If only because Ponds and Thrace-Anderses are easily manipulated into playing at being other people.
Sexiest Story: Tigermoth. Holy shit, Tigermoth. (Ikr? Pepper Potts domming Maria Hill? Totally not expected. And yet)
Story With The Single Sexiest Moment: Things Not Recommended at Commercial Airline Cruising Altitudes. don't judge me, but they're hot, ok.
Holy crap, that's wrong even for you! Story: Hrm. Possibly Close to the Edge? Edging into non-con/under-age. (which was really my difficulty in writing SWATH femslash--as much as I could sort of ship it, it was... incestuous, which I'm not fond of)
Story That Shifted My Own Perceptions of the Characters: I can't think of one.
Hardest Story To Write: Blind Date. Romantic comedy is NOT my forte in the least. *shudders* If I never have to write something like it again, it will be too soon.
Biggest Disappointment: That I didn't manage to polish Red Herring up enough to actually post it. Nor did I finish the Doctor Who/Lost Girl crossover that is currently languishing for want of inspiration.
Biggest Surprise: Rediscovering I'd written Donna/Rose (when the hell did that happen?). Also, that I wrote so much Buffy fic (wtf? Maybe it was porn battles that did it).
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: Probably the Nina/Oswin fic, Platforms. A part of me will always believe in melancholy happy endings and silly coincidences, and this fic is full of them.
