It's so over the top and ridiculous and overly fond of cliff hangers, but it's so just what I need on tv. I hope it gets a whole proper season next year.
It somehow went from being a dirty pleasure to something I loved unconditionally. I think it was all the little things like how it effortlessly passes the Bechdel Test every episode and the president is Republican, but not evil and his Chief of Staff is gay and married and I'm pretty sure the First Lady is one of the best characters ever.
And just how all the characters are wonderfully complex and brilliant. And it's all these little things that I've honestly gotten used to not being in my regular tv layered onto a fun, if a bit trashy, story.
