i think you know me far too well for my own good
There is nothing like reading old files filled with badly-written Mary Sue fic to give one perspective.
For one thing, people cry a ton. Every other chapter, practically (and, like, I know I'm skipping around and reading different sections of the unfinished timeline, but STILL).
Also, when I first started writing the Marya stuff, Notepad had a certain limit for the number of characters you could save in one file. So some of these files are pieces that need to be copy/pasted into one file. Which is still sort of O.o inducing, as the word counts are occasionally... large. And while some of the turns of phrase are entertaining, a large portion is wince-worthy in the extreme.
(good god, I just found addresses for people from Comics Fandom. I bet some of them are defunct, too. Maybe I should clean out this notes file)
There's a notes file filled with notations of dates and word counts. Random Orcs took me a long time to write, which feels ridiculous now. (and I apparently don't have a copy of RO in its entirety on Parker. I feel as though I should panic.)
