Also, I did as I knew I would, and have blown through both episodes of the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries that I've got. It is delightful. (I'm rather torn on whether to add Phryne to my new banner thingie, as Mac is already sort of there)

We had a goodbye luncheon today for everyone who's leaving next week. It was so very odd, frivolity mixed with "goodness, the job market sucks."

I wish there had been more Mac in the second episode! But it was still awesome, and Dot is wonderful. And I laughed everytime they said "Ballarat", because I totally read Ballarat as "daggy holiday town" not "glamorous overnight train voyage destination".

HAH. I actually back-tracked to cap that moment, as I knew it should be an icon. =D

I have this unreasonable need for there to be metric tons of Mac, aside from the oodles of chemistry between her and Phryne (I just like her--I mean, I suppose I was pre-disposed to, given my love for women in trousers, but also, also, she is so competent and smart!--and, er, was Jool, too. So.).

Yeah, I was still trying to figure out what the entire point of Ballarat was!
