sff: Revenge 1x15

It's the episode I was assuming would be the season finale, so I think I sort of give the writers points for having it come seven episodes prior to the season end.

So many plot-threads, and SO MANY MEN telling the women what to do. I'm not sure I'm comfortable or pleased about that, but I suppose we'll see.

1. Amanda is alive, and hopefully not shot too badly (I assume it was a graze). She is also now in the hands off the sensei who dumped Emily, which means he might offer to train her in the art of revenge and survival. Will she come back in x number of years to get her revenge on? Also, she totally went there to stop Tyler's revenge plan, because Emily still owns her soul. Sisters, my ass.

2. Nolan was plotting. It didn't feel right, to be honest. That's not his job. :/

3. I'm surprised that Daniel's rebellion wasn't exactly what Emily wanted? Like, from the flashback last week, I thought she would have been aiming for this: divorcing him from the family name. Fuck, I was expecting him to tell her he wanted to take her name when they eloped. I'm really hoping that it's not going to devolve into "Emily is really just a gold-digger", as that's what's now been implied. I liked revenge much better.

4. Oh, Charlotte. SOMEONE HUG THAT GIRL. Someone who isn't her not-biological father or her mother. Or Declan. I don't think his hugging her will help. I sort of hope she and Emily band together and get revenge on everyone. Then Amanda can come back and show them up or something. I also hope someone calls her on her current abuse of pain-killers (and I hope she doesn't attempt suicide, as that really would be cliche)

5. Victoria actually managed to get one over on Emily, with the whole eloping business. I wish she hadn't, as it showed how unintelligent Emily has been. And that grates.

6. I'm glad Tyler is dead.

7. Again, though, I'm a bit annoyed that it was all "men do lots of things, Emily sort of stands around with her mouth hanging open"

8. I'm also disappointed that my "Emily shoots Daniel as her final revenge" idea isn't what happened. sigh. That would have been more interesting.

9. Er, btw, I think Daniel did shoot Tyler--I think there was a struggle. Then I think Amanda showed up and shot him two more times in the back and grabbed the photos so Tyler wouldn't have incriminating evidence on him.
