I don't even know what the title was for this episode.
omg.asdfjk. I just.
I LIKED THE LIBRARY SET. It was so cute and home-like. AND NOW IT IS COMPROMISED. *sniffle*
Also, for a show where I'm like "I'm sure everything will be fine, lol" about it all, I definitely get the adrenaline rushes when Things Happen. (LIKE OMG THE SYSTEM WAS HACKED)
Was the Machine responsible for Hardison's evil twin sister? Is she part of its machinery (as it were)?
I am not entirely sure how to cope with an episode that contained Carter being sneaky and Zoe Morgan. Especially when my response to Zoe's thing with Matheson was to go "OMG SHE IS BEING SOPHIE". (I really hope no one tagged Carter for lying about Leslie's kids being on the phone.)
I need to stop ending paragraphs with parenthetical statements.
The story-line, about the guy who'd lost his job and was lying to his family really hit home (at least for the moneyless desperation--btw, most temp agencies give you more than a time and location for your new assignment. You usually get manager and phone number information. Or at least you did five years ago). Although, dude, seriously, WHY lie about something like that? It's so stupid. It's also a waste of money and a risk of your family's credit if you don't cut down on spending and plan for the future--fuck, his wife could have gone to work. Childcare could have been in HIS hands.
A COMPUTER VIRUS WAS CALLED A HONEY TRAP. OH GOD. *giggles a lot*
Also, the boys were... sort of not-bright, in this. Even without that little voice-over bit at the beginning, I'd worked out more about what was happening than they had.
Also, also. ZOE MORGAN MAKES REPORTERS QUAIL AND FLEE. <3
Carter still isn't entirely sure about these two, and I think she may ultimately kick them to the curb--not turn them in, but walk away. I don't know. Maybe if too many bodies show up with links to them.
(and was Root part of the Machine's program for backing itself up/keeping itself safe? Was she part of what happened to Finch so long ago? Also, is Finch hot for the hacker that's tickled his system?)
Root has silly nails.

And yes, Zoe is the BEST EVER.
Must figure out way for Zoe and Carter to meet and be super-suspicious of each other.
eta: episode title was "Root Cause." Yes, show, you're very clever
now shut upno subject
(Zoe does lots of side-contract-work stuff for the police. It might be routine for her to come across Carter...)
*snerks* Ridiculous show.

eta: hang on... I can't remember when he first designated her as female, but he did hear the voice-disguised phone call that Matheson had with her. And I guess she sounded female enough there. Hm.
This is THE MOST ridiculous show.

Oh, show. More Carter. You're right though, she's got to get fed up with this soon, right?
