1. I have this strange urge to play Mille Bournes. What a pity I have the urge now and not when I could steal the deck of MB cards from my parents over the weekend. Sigh.

2. I got a Chia Herb Garden for Christmas.

3. I'm still trying to process last week's Lost Girl, which I watched on the train yesterday. (show, why are you so frustrating).

4. I re-read Sheri S Tepper's Beauty on the trip south. Like Deerskin (which I finished the night before as a hardback book is harder to transport than a paperback), I found myself easily sucked in. I'm a bit curious to try re-reading some of Anne McCaffrey's early Dragon books now, just to see what I think of them (the sexism in the Crystal Singer books gives me some idea).

It is. It.... sort of is a bit up-lifting, but it's also very "MANKIND DESTROYS ITSELF, LOL"

I loved those when I was a teenager, but I'm almost afraid to reread them, since I'm pretty sure this is how I'd feel reading them now. I still want my own dragon (or magic white horsie), though.
