I keep having broken discs

1. Covert Affairs is back. Have I mentioned that? Anyway. The second after-credits scene in 2x13 was in the ops room, with everyone in civvies and HOLY GOD SO HOT. Like, all of them. And then the show topped that. NNgh. (also, there was sweaty Jai in an earlier episode.)

1a. Not to mention that 2x12 ripped off Spooks season ten without fridging any women (or creating surprise!children), so good on them for that.

2. I've had mild vertigo since Friday morning. It's either gotten better, or I'm getting used to it. Mostly gone now. Sinuses are all hay-wire, though, so I assume that's what it is. (no fainting, no shortness of breath or occluded sight, nausea only when I'm stupid enough to eat and then nod a lot--but definitely lots of sinus headaches and ears making crackly drainy noises on occasion)

3. [livejournal.com profile] fandom_stocking is back, hurrah.

4. I've been watching Are You Being Served?, and so far? I haven't seen a single episode I've never seen before. I'm 11 discs in, that's a bit frightening for something I watched growing up.

4a. But Netflix keeps sending me broken discs. All cracked from the edge, in about half an inch. Someone is breaking them in a consistent manner that is highly irritating.

I have chronic vertigo and full sinuses definitely make it worse (along with nodding!) so that sounds about right to me!

Ugh. You have my sympathies.

Also, that is reassuring.

You carrier sucks. Your mail slot on the case might be in a corner and he/she is cramming those disks in on top of or underneath half curled flats. Alternately, he/she is forcing all the mail into your clusterbox rather that putting the disks in separately, then adding the curled flats. Either way, it's careless.
