Like, seriously. Would you stop killing characters of color, please? Because it's getting really annoying, not to mention disappointing.

Kill off some of the white characters, you certainly have enough of them, after all.

No, there's a new show with dinosaurs. Terra Firma. I haven't seen it, though, so I can't report on any potential race issues.

I meant Terra Nova. Admittedly I don't think they killed all the black characters. There just were about three of em, one being a "bad guy" and another being a hysterical girl who decided leaving an armoured vehicle to make a 4 mile run against a man eating dino was a splendid idea. Don't think she died but she sure got maimed badly.

This was the first fiction tv besides DW I watched in months and I missed the first 20 minutes so maybe the set up made it less problematic.

Primeval is a UK show, that is according to some of my friends "good in a cheesy sort of way" but YMMV.

Primeval is, as Miera said, a British show about dinosaurs. And time travel. It's not particularly good, and it's frustratingly annoying with its tendency to go "this is a woman, she's incapable of surviving without a maaaan" or just doing really pointless plot choices, "for this episode, a woman will be locked in a closet for an entire act. For no reason."

Don't worry, they'll kill them off as soon as I pick one or more of them as my favourite character for whatever show. The TV show producers/writers always kills of my favourite characters, regardless of colour. *bitter*

But yeah, I've noticed they seem to have it in for characters of colour is many movies/tv shows. *shakes head sadly*

What's hilarious is that, it's not usually a 'favorite' character of mine (well, in the case of two of them, they were on my list), BUT, the fandom reaction of "thank god that useless, annoying bitch is dead" pretty much guarantees I'll end up loving them more.

I'm usually better at simply killing whole tv shows (Brisco, Eastwick, Chloe King... I'm waiting to find out my interest has killed, like, Leverage or something)

sweetie! I've been watching this happen for over 4 decades. I just watch with a belief of sadness cos no matter how hard I wish it always happens. I'm just sad that way.
