Dear Idiot Driver,

I don't know what I did to set you off, but I am not the one who whipped around a car, fish-tailed and almost smacked into the car in the other lane, and then sped up and did the same maneuver to the next car in front of you.

So flipping me off for giggling and waving merrily at someone I consider accident-bait is rather ridiculous.

I am fairly certain you're going to get pulled over for doing eighty while driving dangerously, anyway. It's almost the end of the month, after all.

PS, I'm assuming you're male, as the most obnoxious and dangerous drivers I encounter are invariably male. Usually driving a pick-up truck, though in this case, you had a little sedan thing.

What does that mean? Do your police have quotas? Either way, I hope they're pulled over soon and STOP THAT DANGEROUS SHIT.

Yeah - the joke/stereotype is that they don't really do anything at the beginning of the month, and then they do all their work at the end of it.

That I tend to see more cops on the road towards the end of the month/beginning, when they're pulling people over. I'm not sure it's quotas, but it's an excellent time to catch people with expired registrations.
