So as not to be spoilery.

Esther's entire plotline is almost verbatim ripped from 'Everything Changes'. No wonder I had such deja vu while watching.

(it also explains me glomming onto her so fast. I mean, aside from the empathy over searching through stupid dusty boxes)

The first episode of Torchwood--Esther and Gwen share a lot of the same dialog/plot/realization moments. There are differences, true.

And I love her a lot already. =D
