sff: More Chloe King, Cat-girl of the Jungle. Episodes 2-4
This show, like, hits that kink about girls with powers and destinies and bffs and stuff that, erm, I am so easy on.
I think it keeps getting better, though I'm not sure that's true?
I really love that the significant relationships are between mothers and daughters and girls and women, but there are also men and sons and boys who are friends, too. (I want the two mothers to meet, like, a lot.)
The not so good things: killing off the one black guy, who was EVIL anyway. Also, not enough Jasmine.
Alek. I can't stand him, ngl, and if the show keeps pushing the "Chloe/Alek is the End Game, yay!" stuff, I may be annoyed. (I find him tolerable when they're taking him down a peg)
I LOVE JASMINE SO HARD. I like Amy, too. AndBrian Paul (OMG HE IS ADORABLE).
I even like Brian, but I think that's because he has that faux-scruffy thing going. ALSO, HE IS ADORABLE WHEN ANGSTY. Also, he drove back to get Chloe and doesn't ask questionsand would help her hide a body, I'm sure, ahem.
Someone needs to clue Chloe in that kissing doesn't actually kill humans.
CHLOE IS THE BEST THING EVER. She is feisty and sometimes wrong, and hurts SO MUCH, but wants to do the right thing. And she's confused and loyal and so awesome. Even if her hair would be such a liability in a fight (thank you, Jasmine, for the hair being up)
ALSO. Did I mention that Jasmine once took a knife for Chloe and is now training her in self-defense? Um. yes. *ships, shut up*
I do find it hilarious that no one is like "Hey, evil boss guy who wants that girl dead, your son is dating her" though. HILARIOUS, I tell you. What agenda did scar guy have, and did the Order have it, too? Is that why no one's clued evil!millionaire dude in?
Anyway, I'm definitely enjoying the show, but I am sort of easy when it comes to certain things (women punching things, women bonding, confused men, GIRLS WHO WILL SAVE THE WORLD, femslashy potential out the whazoo)
