Coherence undaunted

There's an Old Spice commercial. I caught it, probably while turning the page in 'For the Sake of Elena'. I don't know why it got my attention.

It starts out with a delivery man rolling around the office, tossing the mail packages onto people's desks, causing some vague mayhem. There's a bouncy soundtrack.

Until he gets to the office of an Exec.

Politely, he holds out the mail offering to her.

"Nice package." She says.

Boring, in and of itself. Until you realise the stiletto-heel-clad Chick Exec is none other than Lilah Morgan.

It's so very wrong. Next we'll see Lindsey hawking some Calvin Klein fragrance, or better yet, posing.... er.... My mind has gone.

Oooh, Elizabeth George. One of my favorite mystery writers.

I like her. And I'm hard to please.... Of course, I'm also having trouble grasping the fact that Lynley is... blond. Because the books they've turned into miniseries' have him dark-haired.

And it's a very disturbing image, to think of Clove Owen playing him blond.

'Scuse me.

Miniseries? Eee?

I didn't know any of George's books had been turned into a miniseries. Give me info!

I'm still amused by the fact that Gavin is in the AT&T (IIRC) commercial that I keep seeing...

He could do a commercial for gloves! Er, glove! *wink*

I just realised! Angel came full circle when Lindsey lost his hand. Didn't Paul Reubens character in the movie say something along the lines of "We can do anything" and Kristy Swanson came back with, "Oh yeah? Clap".

Angel could've used that same line, and I would've been in fanboy heaven. *goofy grin*

Ooooooooooooo. I like the way your devious mind works. *drools*
