wouldn't it be nice if we could ignore all the rules for just one day

1. I had prep-work for a crown on my back molar today. My jaw does not like me, neither does anything else on that side of my face. thank god for leftover narcotics. (am off to bed soon)

2. WinMediaPlayer at work loves The Myriad's With Arrows, With Poise album. It'll be on random, hit on one song from it and proceed to play the whole album in random order. silly windows player.

3. I am hungry. perhaps I will tempt fate and my jaw.

Go for soft foods. If you have the ingredients, something like a milkshake would be good. Because if you can drink it through a straw, you can bypass contact with your teeth and lessen the risk of temperature related pain. (I've never had prep work done like that, but everything else I've ever had done at the dentist always seems to leave my teeth sensitive, so...)

Sadly, I do not. I managed soggy cinnamon toast last night. it was tasty.

And today, it's been mostly fine. I'm just a bit leery of chewing on that side.

*hugs back* I like them AFTER they're done. The one on the other side in the back has been brilliant. But the getting of them, ugh ugh ugh.

Yeah, once they're done, they're fine. My temp crown actually came out before they got the permanent one in place. Ugh. Horrible sensation, that.
